Dame Mint Pattie, I salute your dedication to duty! If only there were medals for people like you. Perhaps it’d be impossible to replicate the melted Russian cannons the British use for VCs, but perhaps we could do you a nice lapel badge in tannin-infused cork?
Also, now you know why Scotch is prescribed for colds. What better for a blocked nose than a bunch-of-burned-dirt Talisker or a back-end-of-tomcat Laphroaig? (That’s right—another one.)
