the red cabbage was good. I won’t say amazing, but then it is cabbage. I’d definitely do it again cos it’s very easy and just sits on the stove keeping warm, so you dont’ have to worry about cooking it at the last minute.

Our Christmas walk this year was pre-lunch, through Suffolk countryside to work up an appetite. We stopped for a pint and a whiskey and sat in front of the fire to warm up.

I’ll have to add the tradition of going for a pint down the local to my favourite things :)

What a glorious post for Christmas Eve. Thanks Emica, and I envy you your chill. At present it’s ten minutes to midnight and 26.5^o C/80^o F.

We don’t have a wreath, but we do have a tin picture of a reindeer saying “I bless you” ;)
